  The wide-width seeding device is a wide-width seed-metering device developed by YAAO in 1986, based on the rotary seeding and fertilizing machine. In 1982, this machine won the Third Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress at the ministerial level, and in 1987, it received the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress from Shaanxi Province. YAAO was the drafting unit of the national standard for rotary seeding machines. In 1988, the machine was awarded the Gold Prize under the Spark Program by the State Ministry of Science and Technology. In 1991, it was presented as a state gift by the former President Yang Shangkun to Mexico—30 units were given as gifts.

  1.6 Invention Patent for Anti-Clogging and Weed-Removing Blade: No clogging even with high stubble and thick stalks; precise and meticulous soil preparation ensures high yields. How much fuel does the Rotary Tiller consume? The rotary seeding and fertilizing machine of the same width also consumes the same amount of fuel. Without increasing the tractor's horsepower consumption, you can earn more money while burning the same amount of fuel.

In 15 minutes, you can till and sow 1,900 meters with a working width of 2.2 meters. Dividing this by 666 and then multiplying by 60 minutes gives: (1,900 meters × 2.2 meters ÷ 666 ÷ 15 minutes × 60 minutes) = 25 acres per hour. If you work 8 hours a day, you can till and sow 200 acres—compared to the previous 167.5 acres—resulting in an additional 33.3 acres tilled and sown each day. At a rate of 50 yuan per acre, this translates to an extra income of 1,665 yuan per day (or 8 hours). This represents a 19.8% increase in productivity. If you work 10 extra days each year, you’ll till an additional 333 acres, earning an extra 16,650 yuan annually. Over five years (50 days), you’ll till an additional 1,665 acres and earn an extra 83,250 yuan.

In 18 minutes, 1,900 meters of land are cultivated at a working width of 2.2 meters. Dividing this by 666 and then by 18 minutes, and multiplying by 60 minutes yields: 20.9 acres of land cultivated per hour. Multiplying this hourly rate by 8 hours of work per day gives a total of 167.5 acres cultivated and sown per day.

  The origin and features of the anti-sticking and anti-blocking rotary seeding and fertilizing machine,

  1. First, in recent times, the government has been focusing on grain production. In regions such as Anhui and Jiangsu, farmers have shifted from cultivating one crop per year to two crops per year—first wheat, then rice. Moreover, most farmers primarily rely on working away from home, leaving them with only limited time for farming during holidays. If there’s excessive rainfall, they can’t wait until the soil moisture reaches an optimal level before planting; instead, they’re forced to sow seeds into sticky, muddy soil.

  2. Second, the government now requires conservation tillage and direct seeding—specifically, direct seeding on fields where all straw is returned to the soil. 3. The increased efficiency achieved by machine operators through seeding is based on the higher yields obtained nationwide, while maintaining seeding quality that is equivalent to or even surpasses that of locally comparable machinery.

3. No-till wheat seeding and fertilizing machine

  No-till fertilization and seeding for wheat, mustard, and oats in dryland areas of northern regions. In areas with two harvests per year or one harvest per year, the entire process—including furrow opening, straw crushing, fertilization, seeding, soil covering, and compaction—can be completed in a single operation on either the root-recommended surface or the surface where all straw has been fully crushed.

  It features all the characteristics of the YAAO variable-speed rotary seeder, employs an invention patent technology to prevent clogging, and performs meticulous soil preparation in the seeded area while leaving the fallow strips uncultivated. The straw is finely chopped and evenly spread across these fallow strips. As a result, the seeded bed has fewer weeds, ensures that the full amount of straw is distributed without causing blockages, and allows for precise, fine-tuned soil preparation that boosts yields. After seeding, a seedbed with 15 cm-wide, 15 cm-deep furrow strips is formed, along with 20 cm-wide fallow strips and 12 cm-wide single-row compaction zones within the seeded strips. This achieves wide-band trench seeding with minimal tillage (see diagram).

Difference from a variable-speed rotary tiller:

  1. Increase the line spacing by 5-6 centimeters.

  2. Single-line suppression.

  3. The centers of the cultivation belt, the seed-fertilizer management system, and the single-row compaction roller are aligned in a straight line, front to back, at the same position.

Note: 5,000 m × 2, cultivation width of 2 mu ÷ 666 = 16 mu of cultivated land per hour × a fee of 35 yuan per mu = 560 yuan per hour. Compared with its peers, YAAO has a daily net profit of 2,800 yuan, an annual net profit of 19,600 yuan, and a five-year net profit of 98,000 yuan.

4. Oilseed and Wheat Dual-Purpose Fertilizer with Seeder Drill
