Variable Speed Rotary Tiller Equipment Installation
1. Equipment installation:
(1) Installation method for rotary tiller blades: Ensure the implement is properly hitched and leveled. The front of the implement faces forward, while the rear of the drawbar faces backward. Stand behind the implement to install the rotary tiller blade, holding the blade body with your hand so that the cutting edge faces forward and the blade curve aligns with the circular hole in the blade holder. Insert the blade into the holder and secure it tightly using an M12×30 bolt. (Rotary tiller blades are available in left-hand and right-hand versions. When holding the blade from the front, if the cutting edge faces forward and the blade curve points to the left, it’s a left-hand blade; if the blade curve points to the right, it’s a right-hand blade.)
(2) The intermediate plow body assembly is installed in the middle plow seat of the frame beam and secured with M16×35 bolts.
The lower holes of the intermediate plow bodies in the G and H series are installed in the middle plow holes of the housing. They are tightened in two stages, with four M12×35 bolts alternately tightened diagonally.
(3) The suspension frame, welded and installed on the connecting plate located in the middle of the equipment frame, shall be tightened diagonally in two steps using M16×45 bolts. (G and H series)
(4) The Variable Speed Rotary Tiller leaves the factory in the medium-speed position. Open the speed-change cover plate, and you’ll see two fork holes: the upper-left one indicates medium speed, and the lower-right one indicates neutral. Insert the fork head of the speed-control lever into the medium-speed hole, and secure it with four M10×25 bolts. Then, gently move the lever back and forth, up and down, and side to side—its movement should not exceed half a centimeter.
(4.1) GHP Gear Shift Lever Installation (For market equipment already shipped, install according to the following instructions)
① Remove the control cap, fold the large end of the rubber protective cover, and insert it into the hole in the control cap.
② Install the large washer with its chamfer facing downward toward the joystick’s spherical knob, then slide it onto the joystick and into the rubber protective cover assembly. Finally, attach the joystick’s handball.
③ With the gearshift lever’s ball pointing toward the middle-speed position indicated by the gearshift indicator, align the spherical groove with the locating pin on the gearshift lever base and insert it into the middle-speed shift fork hole in the upper cover plate. Secure it using five M6×20 bolts. (The lever ball should swing freely back and forth, left and right, without exceeding half a centimeter.) Note: If the clearance is too large or the lever becomes jammed and cannot move, this indicates an installation error.
(5) Install the trailer at the rear of the equipment, remove the trailer pin, connect the trailer using the trailer pin, and secure the trailer pin with two M12×45 bolts.
(6) The pressure rod is installed on the rear beam of the equipment, inside the pressure rod seat. Place the short spring on top, followed by the large washer. Insert the R-pin into the third hole from top to bottom. Then, place the long spring below the large washer and insert the R-pin into the fourth hole from bottom to top (one on each side, at the same height within the hole). Adjust the required spring pressure by moving the R-pin up and down through the adjustment holes. To increase the pressure, adjust the long spring upward—move the R-pin upward accordingly. To decrease the pressure, do the opposite.
