Installation of the Variable-Speed Rotary Spreader Fertilizer Apparatus

1. Equipment installation:

(1) Adjust the equipment to ensure it is properly leveled. In the longitudinal direction, the compaction roller should be installed at the rear end, while the left and right wheat frame side panels should be mounted on the left and right sides of the frame, respectively. For the A-series, use M14×35 bolts for fastening; for the G-series, use M16×40 bolts for fastening. The seed and fertilizer box should be installed on the left and right side panels of the wheat frame and secured with M12×25 bolts. The middle mounting bracket of the seed and fertilizer box should be welded together, as should the supporting structure of the seed and fertilizer box. Both the bracket and the supporting structure should be connected using M6×15 bolts. The support should be installed in the middle of the seed and fertilizer box and aligned with the bolt holes on the gearbox cover plate, then secured with M8×25 bolts.

(2) The left and right cover plates are installed on the left and right covers and secured with M8×20 bolts. The openings in the left and right retaining plates face toward the middle housing, and the anti-sticking pads are positioned downward. These plates are fastened to the left and right covers using M8×25 bolts. Use a tool to cut open the cross-shaped holes in the seed coat, then insert the wheat seed-fertilizer tubes from bottom to top into these holes. The welded wheat seed-fertilizer tubes are installed from left to right at the front of the machine’s rear beam. The seed-fertilizer tube stop plate is tightly attached to the front of the rear beam, with the stop blocks on the stop plate securely mounted against the upper surface of the rear beam. The seed-fertilizer tubes must be aligned with the seed-metering device in the seed-fertilizer hopper (upper section). The seed-fertilizer tubes on the left and right sides should be installed with a spacing of 10–12 cm from the frame edges; the remaining seed-fertilizer tubes should be evenly distributed according to local agronomic requirements, with a spacing of approximately 25 cm. Each tube is secured using a wheat clamp and two U-bolts.

(3) Installation method for the full-cultivation blades: (Same as the Variable Speed Rotary Tiller installation.) The difference is: Install one grass-clearing blade on each side of the wheat seed and fertilizer tube, and install one grass-clearing blade on each side of the side plates. Attention! Install one long and one short grass-clearing blade on each side of the housing; these blades must not come into contact with the housing. (If they do collide, remove them, grind and adjust them until they no longer touch.)
(4) The rear retaining plate is installed behind the machine’s rear beam and is connected at both ends to fixed plate brackets.

(5) The left and right side plates of the compaction roller assembly are installed in the machine’s side plates via φ25 connecting holes. On the left side, they are connected using the intermediate sprocket shaft; on the right side, they are connected using the right hitch pin shaft. Each side is secured with one thin and one thick M24 nut. The left and right seeding depth adjustment holes are each fastened with M14×35 bolts inserted into the 12.5 cm adjustment holes. By adjusting through the strip-shaped holes on both sides of the soil-cleaning blade, the gap between the soil-cleaning blade and the compaction roller can be set to 1–2 millimeters.

(6) Installation method for depth-limiting wheels: The mounting brackets for the depth-limiting wheels are divided into left and right types. Install one on each side, 30 cm from the middle suspension plate on the front beam of the implement (with the wheel angles pointing inward in an "8" shape). Insert the depth-limiting wheels with the wheels facing outward, and secure them using locking pins through the 10-cm-depth-adjustment holes. Note: Make sure to align them precisely behind the main machine’s large wheels; otherwise, not only will the implement be damaged, but the seeding quality will also be affected.
(7) Variable Speed Control Lever Installation: (Identical to that of the Variable Speed Rotary Tiller). The seed and fertilizer hoses and pipes are securely fastened together using locking collars.

(8) The drive sprocket and the intermediate double-sprocket are connected by a (08B) 102-link chain; the fertilizer-dispensing and seed-dispensing mechanisms are connected by a (08B) 51-link chain; and the intermediate sprocket and the seed-dispensing sprocket are connected by a (08B) 100-link chain. Each stage of chain is fitted with a tensioner to adjust the chain’s tightness properly (inspection method: press down on the tight side of the chain with your hand—observe a deflection of approximately 0.5 cm). Then, install protective guards for each stage. Note: The G-series rotary seeders use a 10A chain for connections.
(9) The pedal is installed on the side panels of the left and right frame boxes and secured with M12×20 bolts.
