Adjustment of the gear-shift rotary seeding and fertilizing machine’s implement hitching.
2. Equipment hitching and adjustment:
(1) When connecting the equipment, the host’s limit block strip-shaped hole should be installed in the floating strip-shaped holes of the left and right lifting pull rods, maintaining a floating state.
(2) Connect the spherical holes on the left and right suspension plates of the main unit to the corresponding holes on the left and right suspension plates of the equipment, and then install the suspension pins.
(3) The central pull rod is connected to the strip-shaped holes in the rotary tiller’s suspension frame, and the implement is properly attached.
(4) The front and rear yokes of the universal joint are installed on the same horizontal plane.
(5) Adjust the length of the lead screws on the left and right lifting rods of the tractor to ensure that the implement is properly leveled from side to side.
(6) Adjust the left and right limit rods of the tractor by lengthening or shortening their lead screws to align the implement and fine-tune the left-right swing within a range of 3–5 cm.
(7) Check whether the grass-clearing blade installed in the seed-fertilizer applicator is properly aligned. Ensure that the dual-axis grass-clearing blade is correctly aligned with the seed tube.
(8) Adjust the required amount of seed and fertilizer. After manually rotating the compaction roller, check whether the transmission parts and the seed/fertilizer discharge mechanisms are functioning properly. Verify that the lengths of the seed and fertilizer metering wheels are consistent. Ensure that the seed spouts are installed in the same hole positions.
(9) Before entering the field, adjust the required cutter shaft speed according to soil conditions and agronomic requirements. (Same as Variable Speed Rotary Tiller)
(10) The depth-limiting wheels shall be installed and adjusted within the same hole according to the required tillage depth, with consistent left-to-right alignment (adjustable depth: 7.5–17.5 cm).
(11) Confirm that all bolts and nuts on each component are securely tightened, especially those on fasteners (left and right side plates, main beam fixing, seed and fertilizer box, gearbox, blades, and seed shaft positioning sleeves).
(12) Before use, fill the gearbox with GL5-85W-140 gear oil up to the level of the oil-check hole. All grease fittings should be fully lubricated with grease. Adjust the required blade shaft speed according to local agronomic requirements. Ensure that all transmission parts rotate smoothly and without any unusual noises (for Variable Speed Rotary Tiller, same as for Rotary Tiller).
(13) The compaction roller, whose depth is adjusted relative to the depth-limiting wheel, is installed in the same hole on both the left and right sides. (Adjustable depth: 7.5–15 cm) Note: When the machine leaves the factory, the depth-limiting wheel is set and adjusted within the 10th positioning hole, while the compaction roller is adjusted and installed within the 12.5th positioning hole.
(14) Rotate the compaction roller to check whether seed and fertilizer distribution are normal. With the implement’s power output engaged, operate the implement without any abnormalities.
